Sorry. My requests were only to clarify my doubts.. I started this
tutorial months ago and now that is finished I only put it online. The
price is really symbolic, nothing more... I didn't want to cause
disagreements. Forgive me and forget my mail.. :-(
I didn't want to write on this ml to avoid this disappointment, believe me..

modeling TORCS cars with Free Software.
In this tutorial I use The Gimp, Inkscape and Blender for the whole
process (drawing, modeling and painting). The book covers also how to
set up the xml file for a car.

Dear Miroslav,

I am a postdoc researcher at Politecnico di Milano.
We have been organizing since 2008 several scientific competitions involving
TORCS, where researchers applies learning and evolutionary systems to
develop controllers.
We slighlty modified TORCS and introduced some features like non graphical
simulations.
In addition, we developed a client/server API to let people program or
evolve their controllers more easily (and using also Java if they are more
comfortable with).

record the performance of each driver on multiple tracks using multiple
cars. I am looking for a way to start TORCS from another application,
run a few test races with different settings and return the results. Do
you reckon that is achievable?
