I am having problems with some of the binary files in
the CVS.  I am using Windows and I am having problems
with the following files.

alut.lib
openal32.lib
openal32.dll

All of the .glf font files are not marked as binary
(-kb).  Text doesn't display on the menus because of
this.

I am very new to using CVS so maybe this is my
mistake.  I am using WinCVS is there a setting I need
to change?

Joystick is handled by plib, there should be no need to touch this.

Yes, I am. Verrrry much, in fact. The reasons are simple:
- I want crossplatform multithreading.
- To keep package dependencies low I want to remove at least one dependency if I
add one.

Send me your patch whenever you think it is ready. The SDL switch will be the
base line for client/server, so if I hear nothing from you I will start working
on that in April.

most the GLUT code with SDL code.(except for some
keyboard and joystick input issues)  I created a glut
style callback system for sdl so that it wouldn't
break the code as badly.  

Is this something you guys would be interested when I
finish it?
