About CollectionSpace

Choosing a collections management system is a big decision. To remove some of the uncertainty around implementing a new solution, LYRASIS is happy to offer prospective implementers several options to test and try CollectionSpace. CollectionSpace is used to manage the day-to-day operations of a diverse group of museums and municipalities, universities and historical societies, herbaria and botanical gardens. The non-profit Lyrasis serves as the home organization for CollectionSpace, supporting the needs of the collections management community through mission-driven activities, financial support, and software development.
