A multiplatform C++ library for dynamic generation of Excel .xls files containing multiple worksheets. Unlike .csv files, these can be directly opened by Excel and thus provide an excellent way to output large data sets that require further analysis. To see the latest changes, select "Files" and view the README text displayed at the bottom of that pane. IMPORTANT: Major changes are contained in the current SVN source. Cinemagoer is a Python package useful to retrieve and manage the data of the IMDb movie database about movies, people, characters and companies. Platform-independent, it can retrieve data from both the IMDb's web server and a local copy of the whole db.

SQLTools is a light weight and robust frontend for Oracle database development. This program is not so comprehensive as Tora or TOAD but it is ideal when you need basic data querying capabilities and objects browsing. It also supports a basic subset of SQL*Plus commands (connect/disconnect, bind and define variables). It works with Oracle 8i/9i/10g/11g databases. Oracle Client 32bit is required. emerge is an alternate windows shell. It's purpose is to replace Windows Explorer as your desktop user interface, providing similar functionality, with the additional plugins to provide even more.

LiteSQL is a codegenerator and C++ library that integrates C++ objects tightly to relational database and thus provides an object persistence layer. LiteSQL supports SQLite3, PostgreSQL, MySQL and oracle as backends.

dbf is an easy-to-use command line tool to show and convert the content of dBASE III, IV, and 5.0 files. It reads dBASE databases and prints the content to the screen or converts it to comma-separated (*.csv) files which can be opened in Excel, Calc.
