This small C# (mono or MS.NET 3.5 required) console program generates text or html output which lists directories and files. Copies of directory or file names will be marked in HTML output. I use it to find files in a messy company network.

DirSynch is a bidirectional directory synchronizing software. It helps you to discover the status of each file in both directories: if it's only in one of them, if it's newer in one than in the other, or if they are simply equal. It also support file content comparison using a hash function, although it's very time consuming. After letting you to choose which files do you want to synchronize, it performs the right operations to make both directories equal (or not, if you want it different). The program can create a backup of the files before overwriting them.

dndf is a Drag'n'Drop utility. Perform a drag'n'drop of one (or more) file handler given a text corresponding to the full file path. In the standalone mode there is a text-area where you can usually drag'n'drop (or copy-paste) the "full file path" text, from any other program (notepad, browser). In the called mode you can execute it by your local web server or similar and pass the path through arguments. Why dndf.exe? 1. I develop some programs web-based to manage (index/search) my local files, but security policy of browsers denies me to perform drag'n'drop as a 'file handler' object from browser to other desktop applications. 2. drive is a tiny program to pull or push Google Drive files. Make sure to set your GOPATH in your env, .bashrc or .bash_profile file. You can install scripts for automating major drive commands and syncing from drive-google wiki, also described in platform_packages.md. See file Makefile which currently supports cross compilation. Just run make and then inspect the binaries in directory bin. drive supports resource configuration files (.driverc) that you can place both globally (in your home directory) and locally(in the mounted drive dir) or in the directory that you are running an operation from, relative to the root. drive allows you to specify a '.driveignore' file similar to your .gitignore, in the root directory of the mounted drive. Blank lines and those prefixed by '#' are considered as comments and skipped.

dupehasher scans the given directory for files that are identical except by filename. dupeshasher will generate a report plaintext file named 'dupelist.txt' in the working directory (which contains, per line, tab-delimited names of files whose contents are identical). Depending upon the arguments supplied by the user upon invoking dupeshasher, it will also delete all duplicates, keeping either the oldest or newest of all sets of duplicates. Additionally it can batch-rename all remaining (post-deletion) files in a chronologically-sequential manner; or according to the md5sum or sha256 sum of every file. File extensions (.jpg for example) are preserved, and there is a user option to ensure that the extension is correct (for example, a .jpg file is indeed a jpeg and not, for example, a png). Finally, an interactive mode exists for users who are not comfortable with the command line.

This is the same thing as my dvdsplit for linux program, with a GUI interface. This program will take a list of directories and break up all the files in those directories into 4.5gig chunks so that they can easily be burned to DVD.
