How long do these videos take you??

• I’m effectively working nonstop, so the amount of time between Worlds Tour uploads is usually a decent indicator of how long it took. Sometimes I do work on other stuff concurrently, but generally speaking, those episodes seem to take around 6 months usually… ish??

• “But O’eaiā took like 3 months?” It did!! I’m still trying to figure out how I zoomed that episode together so quickly, but I think it’s a combination of…

  • documentation going live 2 weeks after posting

  • only one song release, without any animation behind it

  • no other character art/animation

  • the language did kinda exist beforehand, though it was more of a shell of an idea than anything else… it didnt have any of the crazy stuff that the video highlights lol

  • lots of other misc small stuff >v<

 

Who are the other LP voice actors?

• Other than Ishaan, who is voiced by the Punjabi voice artist M. Adeel Iqbal, every other voice you hear is me! (oh other than rhea in the relay video lol)

• As such, I’m pretty comfortable doing nearly all of the voices I would need. If I’m looking for voice acting, I will reach out!

 

Do you actually speak Chinese?

• It’s complicated… >v< I have a history studying Mandarin growing up, which is also where I got my name from. I used to be much better, but I’m unfortunately very out of practice now, so I’ve needed help from Kat Mistberg for the grammar in the dialogue.

• Fang is now along for the ride (something I didn’t initially intend, but just made the most sense for the story) so now I’m actively getting back into studying my Mandarin!

• thats like totally chill >v< I’m not great at keeping up with servers, so pings are like a reminder of “hey, something’s important here!” ; chances are I might not see it if you don’t!! lol

• Please be patient though! It may be some time until I can respond to it, I’m pretty slow on that regard, but I try to respond to everything I can as long as it’s not spam or RP or smth lol

• If you have a question about LP that you think others may have an answer to, I’d encourage you to ask it in #laghari-discussion in our discord server! You might get an answer quicker from someone in the community than you would from me lol

Will you make a video about my conlang?

• At the moment I’m just making videos with my own work. I fear I’d not be able to put the same passion into a project that isn’t of my own design…

• I get this question very frequently, so sometime in the future I’d like to make some kind of community project, cause it’s clear that people would want it! The specifics of how that project would work are totally not planned out yet though, nor do I expect it to be anytime soon… 😅
