Welcome to Zeta Girls!

In the year Universal Century 0090, a year and a half since the end of the Neo Zeon War, best friends Kamille and Fa, siblings Judau and Leina, and twin sisters Puru and Ple settle into their new lives in Papaya City in the Swiss Empire. Follow the group as they tackle school, university, friendships, relationships, and their fame as a part of the popular self-made idol group, Zeta Girls. Despite the peaceful lives that they now lead, they are still haunted by their turbulent pasts...

About the Fic

This fic follows the lives of the cast after Zeta Gundam and Gundam ZZ have finished - I couldn’t handle the way Gundam ZZ finished with everyone going their separate ways after everything they had been through so I had to bring them all back together and give them a new life! I first thought of the idea for this fanfic during 2020 when I rewatched Zeta Gundam and ZZ Gundam, being a longtime fan of both series, but I didn’t start writing it until December 2022.

It’s a very slow build, heavy on the romance in places, and generally light-hearted, however some chapters have a lot of angst and drama too, with some chapters containing sensitive topics and adult themes. As a result, this is an 18+ fanfic - proceed at your own risk.

There are lots of nods to real life songs, groups, TV shows/movies/games, characters from other anime (but placed in my world, so expys), and even characters inspired by real life idols and celebrities, so if there’s a name you recognise or think it’s alluding to, yes, it’s inspired by that thing and I’m a fan of it too!

Finally, Zeta Girls is a work in progress. If you start reading, you’re in for a really long ride! But I can assure you that the main plots and arcs of the story are planned until the very end, and every chapter is written with the purpose of advancing the plot, even if just a little. I will complete this fic, even if it takes me a long time!
