Here wearing a Cavalry helmet complete with face mask and that "Imperial or Royal Purple" which on a Paludamentum with gold fringed tassles like that was illegal except for the Emperor. His light maroon full length braccae extend all the way to cover the whole foot with another shade of Maroon/purple/dark red (I run out of descriptors for these colours) which are covered by the low cut slip on boot and of course his waist command sash is yet another shade of purple with the gold tassles.
