life-meaning

Hey, what's going on? My name is William and you have stumbled upon my humble abode here in the Bearosphere.

I am just your average working-class Joe maintaining a blog because it is a thing us Xennials do. My first "blog" was on a website called LiveJournal. From there, I blogged on a self-hosted WordPress installation for almost twenty years before finally having enough with WordPress. I did not blog at all for about two years. I walked away because I did not really think it was all that important to me.

In early 2023, I discovered this lovely BearBlog platform and have been here since. I still suffer from the constant "Why am I doing this?" mind-pizzle all the time. I started my blog here back in that February of 2023 and have nuked everything several times over and started anew.

It always bothered me that I didn't have a centralized theme to adhere to. I would sometimes post techie posts about my love for Linux or love for SomaFM and then have a rant post about how work sucks. It bothered me that I was not consistent the same way other people's blogs seemed to be.

These feelings are not valid at the end of the day. Nobody is paying us to do this, we are all here on our own accord. Just keep posting to your blog and all the pieces will fall into place on their own, at their own time. Just keep going.

You can subscribe to my blog via email or RSS feed if you are inclined.

I really enjoy engaging with strangers who stumble their way here, so please if you have praise or criticisms to share, sign the guestbook or reach out.

Thanks for stopping by! 🌸
