How to fix CE-112987-8

There was an issue when purchasing, downloading or installing the content on your PlayStation®5 console.

  1. Make sure that your PS5® console system software is updated to the latest version.
  1. Press the PS button on your controller to open the control centre. Highlight the downloaded content, press the options button, and select Delete. Then try the download again.

  2. Try signing out and signing back in to your account for PlayStation®.

  1. Restart your PS5 console.
  2. Try restoring licences on your PS5 console.

If you’re having issues when purchasing content, follow the steps below. 

  1. Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Account > Payment and Subscriptions > Payment Methods.

  2. Select a registered payment method, make sure your payment information is correct carefully, including the expiration date and billing address. Follow the on-screen instructions to make your changes.

  3. If you're still having issues, try using a different payment method.
