What is Marathon?

A new team-based FPS from the creators of Halo and Destiny.

Become a cybernetic mercenary and scavenge the lost colony of Tau Ceti IV in Bungie’s team-based extraction shooter.

Choose your Runner and work together in crews of three to battle rival teams and hostile security forces for weapons and upgrades. Survive and everything you find is yours to keep as you grow stronger, fill your vault, and prepare for high-stakes challenges.

Marathon is set in the mysterious and cutthroat world of Tau Ceti IV, where the derelict Marathon ship looms over the lost colony. Rival factions hire Runners to compete for the resources left behind. Few survive the journey, but the race won’t stop. Not when every run promises power, fortune, and answers to Tau Ceti’s secrets.

Choose from a roster of cybernetic mercenaries with unique abilities. Customise your playstyle with the weapons, implants, and equipment you collect on your runs. Every match is a chance to experiment, buildcraft, and come back stronger.

What once was a thriving colony is now a battleground for rival factions competing for power and fortune, hiring Runners to track down weapons, valuables, and the edge they need to win.
