How to add funds to your wallet on PlayStation Store

Learn how to add funds to your wallet and make payments by combining wallet funds with a payment card.

How to add funds to your wallet online

  1. Go to PlayStation Store, and select Sign In from the top right of the screen.
  2. Select your profile icon from the top right of the screen.
  3. Select Payment Management > Add Funds and select a payment method.
  4. Select the amount and click Add Funds.

  2. Select Account > Payment and Subscriptions > Add Funds.
  3. Select your payment method, review the amount, and select Continue.
  4. Confirm the information displayed on the screen and select Yes.

  3. Select Add Funds.
  4. Select your payment method, review the amount, and select Continue.

How to check your wallet balance online

  1. Go to PlayStation Store, and select Sign In from the top right of the screen.
  2. Select your profile icon from the top right of the screen.
  3. Select Payment Management.

  1. Go to PlayStation Store and then press the triangle button.
  2. Select … (More).

  1. Go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information.
  2. Select Wallet and sign in.
  3. Select Add Funds.

  1. Select the PlayStation Store icon at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select the menu icon at the top right of the screen.
  3. Select Payment Methods.

How to make purchases with wallet funds and other payment methods

When you pay for a purchase, your wallet funds are used first. If your wallet funds don't cover the full balance of a purchase, the remainder can be settled using other payment methods.

Can children add wallet funds?

A child account doesn't have a wallet and can't add funds for PlayStation Store purchases.

  • Children are able to purchase content and services (within their spending limit) using their family manager's wallet.
  • By default, a child account’s monthly spending limit is set to 0.

What is a wallet on PlayStation Store?

Each adult account has a wallet. You can add funds to your wallet using a valid payment method or PlayStation Store gift card. Wallet funds can then be used to purchase content and services from PlayStation Store.

  • If you’re making a purchase, any wallet funds will be spent first.
  • If you're buying a subscription with wallet funds, you may still be required to add a payment method to your account.
