Tekken 8 brings the fight to the latest generation of consoles, powered by Unreal Engine 5

Feel the power of every hit in Tekken 8, the latest entry in the legendary fighting game franchise from Bandai Namco.

Utilising the power and realism of Unreal Engine 5, Tekken 8 pushes the envelope for fighting games by taking full advantage of the power of the latest generation of consoles.

Ground-breaking new features, breathtakingly detailed character models and dramatic environments make this one of the most visually stunning and immersive titles in the genre yet.

Tekken 8 picks up after the gruesome battle that ended in Heihachi Mishima’s defeat in Tekken 7, focusing on a new rivalry, pitting father against son as Jin Kazama stands in defiance against Kazuya Mishima in a city-shattering face-to-face showdown.

Aggressive new gameplay

The new 'Heat System' rewards you for going on the offensive and fighting aggressively. Heat can be used at any time during a round to trigger special moves and ability boosts unique to each character.

Staples such as 'Rage Arts' and all of the series’ signature moves and bone-crushing combos also make their return in Tekken 8.

An iconic character roster

32 fighters with next-gen visuals will collide in Tekken 8!

The roster includes iconic fighters like Paul Phoenix, King, Marshall Law, and Nina Williams, and sees the return of Raven - last featured in Tekken 6, 15 years ago.

Jun Kazama returns to the story for the first time in 25 years, since her disappearance in Tekken 2, and Tekken 8 also introduces a new three characters: Azucena, Victor and Reina.

New game, new rivalry

Tekken 8 continues the tragic saga of the Mishima and Kazama bloodlines and their world-shaking father-and-son grudge matches.

In this latest chapter, Jin Kazama will seek to defy his fate as he faces his father Kazuya Mishima causing war and destruction across the globe.

Along with the main storyline experience that flows from Hollywood-grade cutscenes to over-the-top battles, separate character episodes provide more insight into the individual stories of each character.

Achieve stunning combos with Special Style

Special Style is a new control method introduced for Tekken 8. It maps character-specific combos to individual buttons, for a feel that's closer to casual action games. This provides newcomers with immediate spectacles, and more-experienced players can experiment with unfamiliar characters.

Special Style combos change depending on your character's Heat or Rage status, and they can be turned on and off during a fight at the touch of a single button. Seamless switching between this mode and the traditional Arcade Style mode the Tekken series is known for guarantees exciting battles for all levels of players.

The DualSense wireless controller will have you feeling every battle as Tekken 8 plunges you into its all-out fighting force and environmental destruction.

3D audio

3D audio is used throughout the game for battle sounds, stage ambience, sound effects and more, providing players with an enveloping, realistic experience.
