Thank you to @respectfulmom for providing this wonderful list of phrases to say INSTEAD of "Stop Crying!" As parents it can be triggering to hear our children crying and we want it to stop. But WE need to explore why we are feeling that way. In the moment when our children are crying, we need to validate and support their emotions.
