Beef Braciole is a delicious Italian
Ingredients:
For the Braciole:
4 thinly sliced beef steaks (about 4-6 oz each, such as flank or top round)
½ cup breadcrumbs
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped (optional)
For the Tomato Sauce:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 tsp sugar
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the filling: In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir until evenly mixed.
