Waiters’ Races in Paris, known as La Course des Cafés. It was founded in Paris in 1914 to celebrate the profession, café culture, and the art of service. The race quickly became a popular event where waiters, carrying trays loaded with drinks, compete to run a set course as fast as possible without spilling anything.
