Sire Galen loaned his prize liner “Lady Athena” to the Discovery Fleet at the “request” of the president! This however gained him much greater leverage to push for more finances to replace her. In return for his co-operation Galen was given the funds to build the biggest and best Liner ever! The revenue from this new liner would fund both the shipyards and the new Battlester Atlantia. This new ship was twice the size of her predecessors having 2,560 rooms compared to 1,296 of the “Lady”...

The second of the quartet of luxury liners, the Lady Serina, named after the late Colonial News Network reporter and wife of “Apollo” Adama, she housed the largest aquatic centre throughout the colony. She boasted pools for both leisure and training, deep water diving tanks, slides, competition pools and everything aquatic for leisure, sport and training.

Following the new tradition of naming the liners after famous heroines of the new colony, the final ship, the Lady Athena was no exception bearing the name of Apollo’s sister. Athena Adama latterly rose to the most coveted prize in the fleet, the command of the new Super Battlestar Galactica. This ship was the most lavish and expensive of the four new liners and had the very best V.I.P facilities. One special feature was the tower between the two giant domes housing the “First Class” guests.

The Lady Sheba was named after the famous warrior Helena “Sheba” Cain, daughter of the legendary Commander Cain. She was the first of four such vessels, she housed the largest gambling chancery (casino) ever built on a space liner.
