Built in 1857 at 1132 Royal Street, this is a wonderful house museum filled with period furnishings. James Gallier, Jr. was one of the most prominent architects of his era in New Orleans, and he created a charming family residence that has been faithfully restored and lovingly maintained. I am very grateful to folks for posting these photos online. I've pinned here in tribute of the hard work of the staff who maintain this wonderful house museum all throughout the year.
