I promised to share the first (fail) attempt of the Leeward hat with you - swipe for pictures! 🐛 It’s just 5 extra stitches, but they transformed the hat’s proportions and look, and I’m loving it now!
The first version was shorter, with fewer stitches at the top, and it ended right after the cables. I also worked a horizontal ribbing ridge around the opening for a little extra detail.
