Three senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from Jharkhand have been empanelled for higher positions in the Government of India.

New Delhi: IAS officer Kanishak Kataria was recently promoted and posted in Jaipur as the new Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel (DoP), Government of Rajasthan. Kataria was previously posted as the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad of Alwar.

In a recent development, the Maharashtra government issued transfer orders dated 8th April 2024 for several officers. IAS officer Anshu Sinha from the 1999 batch has been appointed as the Secretary of the Maharashtra State Child Rights Commission, headquartered in Mumbai.

Amravati: The government of Andhra Pradesh has mandated the transfers of three senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officers. As per the official orders, IAS Cherukuri Sreedhar (2009 batch) has been appointed as the new District Collector of Kadapa. He previously served as the Director of Industries.

Patna: Nine IAS officers, including ACS KK Pathak, were reassigned in a significant bureaucratic reshuffling in Bihar.

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs for appointment of Sadanand Vasant Date as the new Director General of National Investigation Agency (NIA). Date is an IPS officer of 1990 Batch of Maharashtra cadre. He will be replacing IPS Dinkar Gupta upon his superannuation on 31 March 2024.
