Kathryn is an Australian actor, voice artist, Drama Coach/Dramaturg and advocate for young people working in film. She has several exciting credits to her name; the most recently being the role opposite Billy Howle in 'Kid Snow' (dir. Paul Goldman) and Dawn Whiffle in 'RUNT' (dir. John Sheedy). Her other credits include playing resident Ambulance Officer, Charlie in "Home and Away"; Jack's Mum in "Little Monsters" (dir. Abe Forsythe); Psychologist Katie in "The 5th Shadow" (dir. David Sparks); and Maggie in the short film "Patch" (dir. Amy Carley). Kathryn has also assisted young actors Lily LaTorre, Jack LaTorre, Noah Wiseman and Lily Whitely on or in the lead-up to productions such as "Run, Rabbit, Run" (dir. Daina Reid), "Kid Snow" (dir. Paul Goldman), "The Babadook" (dir. Jennifer Kent), "Kangaroo" (dir. Kate Woods), "The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart" (dir. Glendyn Ivin), "Pieces of Her" (dir. Minkie Spiro), among others. Such high-profile productions have afforded her a great relationship with casting directors, directors, producers and fellow artists across the country and internationally. Kathryn has an excellent Standard American and English accent, and regular assists young actors with their accents, as well as her own work as a voice artist for commercials and audiobooks. After years singing in bars and coaching young actors, Kathryn went on a 15 month cultural and environmental adventure through Central and South America, Europe, Nepal, India and parts of South-East Asia, living with local families, learning Spanish and summiting the Alps on three continents. She has since returned to what she loves: spending time with her kids and husband; her extended family; her dog and chickens; and spending time outdoors and at the beach.
