Big Tex burned up at the State Fair of Texas today. People are taking their griefly very seriously. Which I find odd because, you know, he’s not a person and his skeleton is still intact. He’ll be back next year. He’s been changed several times in the past. I wish I’d been there to see it, though. What a fantastical freakout that must have been. Very surreal.
