2 billion Norwegian kroner for electricity and heating in Ukraine

The winter in Ukraine is freezing. Many Ukrainians are now without electricity due to massive Russian attacks. Norway is supporting Ukraine with 2 billion Norwegian kroner for repairs in the energy sector and for gas purchases.

Norad - The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation

Norad is an administrative and specialist body for development cooperation and supports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Climate and the Environment in achieving the goals of Norwegian development policy and promoting sustainable development. The UN's sustainability goals, climate goals and human rights form the basis of Norad's work. Norad is based in Oslo and has around 320 employees.

Norad Conference 2026: Peace Out?

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk, Sudanese democracy activist Alaa Salah – known as “Lady Liberty”, war correspondents, humanitarian workers, peace activists, politicians and leading conflict researchers from around the world will take the stage at this year’s Norad Conference on 28 January.

The Nansen Support Programme for Ukraine

The Nansen Programme for Ukraine is a Norwegian support programme for both civilian and military aid, with a total budget of NOK 275 billion for the period 2023–2030.
