I found it quite addictive again, but I'm still a bit disappointed.
First off, I think this fourth season is overcrowded. Too much political intrigue and reversals in too short a time.
Second, it's kind of a character assassination Brigitte Nyborg. The ending can no longer rectify that.
In my opinion there was more to it, because seeing the characters again was nice and the new additions also worked well. I also thought the premise of the conflict was well chosen.

Like a good friend you meet again after years. Borgen Power & Glory is smooth, sharp, current and very familiar. Adam Price (of the equally great Herrens Veje/Ride Upon The Storm) has created another full but wonderful screenplay, with intrigue, political machinations and personal tragedies. Sidse Babette Knudsen is Birgitte Nyborg and plays all the stars of the Danish and Greenlandic sky. Can this be done better? No, this is top television and the best Netflix series in years.

Almost ten years after the last season, the makers of this great series have dared to come up with a fourth series. And fortunately, because this is absolutely not inferior to the previous seasons. Birgitte Nyborg (again masterfully played by Sidse Babett Knudsen) is now Minister of Foreign Affairs and becomes involved in an oil crisis in Greenland. The plot lines are as always intelligent, compelling and exciting and the characters are still very intriguing. The cake seems to really run out, but you never know.
