The White Hat organization was established in 2004 in the United Kingdom to protect vulnerable children through charitable means.

Following this model, White Hat USA was organized in 2012 with the goal of raising money to help children at risk while providing networking opportunities for members of the Cyber Security community. In its first two years, the White Hat Gala has raised nearly $750,000 in support of Children’s National Health System, and the children and families that it serves. With the help of corporations and individuals within the Cyber Security field, this event has grown into both a great success and a highlight of the industry calendar. We are thrilled to continue building this event with the 3rd Annual White Hat Gala.

Funds raised at the White Hat Gala go directly to providing the vital support Children’s National Health System needs to give the best treatment possible to its patients.

At Children’s National, they are re-imagining care for kids by thinking bigger, thinking differently, finding what works better, making creative connections, and never forgetting who they are caring for.

To achieve that goal, they are recruiting the best and brightest faculty, expanding programs, and updating facilities to provide the most innovative care to patients. With a global reach, Children’s National has treated children from 50 states and 40 countries around the world.

As a nonprofit hospital, Children’s National relies on the generosity of the community to help save and improve the lives of the children it serves. Philanthropy not only allows healthcare professionals to provide excellent care, it is also critical to changing the way physician-scientists approach and defeat childhood disease and illness.

Your gift helps provide the best care to all families, including those who can’t afford to pay for treatment. Last year alone, Children’s National provided approximately $50 million in uncompensated health care.
