It goes into more detail than the talk about topics like the three-stage process for validating AI responses (no "bobby; drop tables" thank you very much), pydantic and production considerations for those thinking of basing their own systems off the demo code.

Working at a scale-up with a genuinely good engineering culture. Smart teammates. People he liked. A place he wanted to succeed. This was an SRE I spoke to recently. Sharp guy, career-minded, clearly knew his craft. But the way SRE was being run… wasn’t SRE. The company’s goals sounded great on paper: Reduce incidents and build something that won't fall over in a light gust. Yet none of their behaviour reflected any of that. SRE was actually an ops janitor role, sweeping up everyone else’s tech debt. And he's left bouncing from one incident to another without ever fixing the underlying issues as they scale internationally. It was the classic mismatch: leadership wanted the outcomes of reliability without the behaviours that create reliability. And now he's reached the breaking point. If you’re trying to build or retain strong reliability talent, watch what your rituals say about your priorities. Intent lives in the slide deck. Behaviour lives in the incident history.
