Awarded in recognition of training and quality assurance efforts that led to the successful upgrade and/or continuous training and qualification of EOD flight members that led to the unit successfully fulfilling six deployment taskings and receiving back-to-back recognition as superior performers (as a team) during the unit's 2021 and 2024 Unit Effectiveness Inspections (UEIs).     Awarded for outstanding achievement as Explosive Ordnance Disposal Craftsman and NCO in charge of Quality Assurance during my 2016 deployment to Kuwait. Provided training and mission support to forces deploying downrange to Iraq and Syria in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, contributing to the recapture of ISIS strongholds like Mosul.

  • Air Force Meritorious Service Medal

    Awarded for providing manning support to Air Force Space Command and NASA. Filled the positions of four deployed unit members, including the senior non-commissioned officer in-charge of Quality Assurance, non-commissioned officer in-charge of Training, and non-commissioned officer in-charge of Operations.

  • Air Force Commendation Medal

    Department of the Air Force

    Awarded for outstanding design and implementation of operational internal controls during the disposal (by detonation) of 94 crates of hazardous explosives. Processes included the assembly, operation, and maintenance of a 67 component firing system used to detonate explosive charges. The success of this project resulted in 50 precisely controlled detonations, zero property damage, and zero injuries.

  • Army Commendation Medal

    Department of the Army

    Awarded for providing explosive ordnance disposal services to the U.S. Army during combat operations in Logar, Kandahar, and Parwan provinces of Afghanistan. I cleared main military and civilian supply routes of improvised explosive devices and provided humanitarian demining services to the people of Afghanistan.

  • Military Volunteer Service Medal

    Department of the Air Force

    Awarded for completing over 2,500 hours of community service while stationed near Niceville, Florida and Anchorage, Alaska from 2005 to 2007.

  • Distinguished Graduate of NAVSCOLEOD

    Department of the Navy

    Had highest cumulative grade percentage (93.85%) of graduating class in the Naval School of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD). At the time, the school was rated the fourth most difficult school in the Department of Defense, (as measured by average attrition rate of students).
