“Getting a headshot with Monica was a carefree experience due to her preparation, know-how, and attention to detail. She appropriately used her artistic discretion in order to create an accurate portrayal. Furthermore, she was very flexible with scheduling and the price she set was quite reasonable. Without any reservation, I would recommend Monica to anyone who is wanting a quick, easy, and professional experience.”

After studying abroad in 2013, I spent the following years studying the Italian language and imagining a way to return to Florence, Italy. After reflecting on my experiences, I craved for a new experience that would include local interactions, a substantial understanding of the Italian culture, and the opportunity to study art and design, a subject close to my heart. After much hard work, I designed a project to interview local artists and designers in Florence for the summer of 2015. This project received funding from North Carolina State University and will be realized in a print magazine and online video series. The project is still ongoing and will be finalized in October. The blog URL documents my progress and gives a brief glimpse into what this project truly is.
