This feature is available only to LinkedIn Premium subscribers. It provides competitive intelligence about applicants on job postings and an inside look at hiring companies. These insights can help job seekers understand their position among applicants and learn more about potential employers.
Insights appear after a job posting has at least three applicants. For jobs you’re interested in, you can view:
- Number of applicants for the job.
- Your ranking compared to other applicants, shown as a percentage if you’re within the top 50%.
- Top skills among applicants, including skills you share.
- Experience and education levels of applicants.
Note: Applicant ranking is based on LinkedIn data and is not endorsed by the hiring company. If applications are accepted on an external site, data reflects people who clicked to apply, not completed applications.
Company insights are based on LinkedIn profile data and appear only if the company has enough employees with complete profiles. You can view:
- Number of employees and hiring trends over the past 24 months.
- Company growth rate over the past 24 months.
- Average employee tenure and top job titles (if available).
- Other companies and schools the hiring company hires from.
- Hires who worked at the same company or attended the same school listed on your profile.
