Repost a LinkedIn Page post

As a LinkedIn Page super admin, you can repost posts as a Page or as a member through your super admin view. The post will appear in the feed of your Page followers with the organization’s logo.

Reposting is a powerful tool to amplify important messages, increase the reach of valuable content, and keep your audience engaged. By adding your own commentary to the reposted content, you can provide additional context, share your insights, and foster meaningful discussions.

You can use one of the following options while reposting a post:

  • Repost - Share the original post as is so that it gets more attention on other people's feed
  • Repost with your thoughts - Add your own thoughts, or comments on the original post and then repost it. Your thoughts and comments will appear at the top of the post.

To repost a post as your Page:

  1. Go to your Page super admin view.

  2. Click View as member.

  3. Locate the post and click the  Repost icon.

  4. Choose one of the following options:

    • Repost - To repost the original post as is
    • Repost with your thoughts - To add your thoughts or comments to the original post and then repost
  5. If you chose Repost with your thoughts, then in the subsequent dialog, enter your thoughts about the post.

  6. To adjust the post settings, click the dropdown displayed next to your name and specify the following:

    • Posting as – Specify if you would like to repost the post with your name or as your Page.  
    • Who can see your post? – Determine who can view your post.  
    • Comment control – Toggle the option to On or Off to enable or disable comments on the reposted post. 
    • Label post as brand partnership – Toggle the option to On to label the post as a brand partnership.  
    • Done – To save the changes to the post settings.
  7. Click Post.

If you chose Repost with your thoughts, then your comments will appear at the top of the reposted post.

Here's a tip

You can click on the previous repost's comments to see any connected reposts and navigate back to the original post.
