We brought our global team together in Cancún for our annual kickoff! Teammates from Europe, the U.S., and beyond gathered in one room to celebrate and plan what’s next. We celebrated last year's growth, aligned on big bets for the year (exciting announcements coming soon 👀), strengthened our strategy 🤖, and made real decisions together. 🤝 And yes, we made time to connect outside the meeting room too: ocean swims 🌊, cenotes, snorkeling 🤿, Mayan history, and actual face time with the people we build with every day. Read our blog for the details. https://lnkd.in/eKQC3Tn6 Also, we’re growing! 📈 If you want real ownership, global collaboration, and the chance to help shape what’s next, check out our open roles at https://utm.guru/ulJ6s. Build with us.

As teams move toward agentic automation and AI-driven operations, infrastructure can’t just be programmable; it has to be predictable, coherent, and machine-friendly. We’ve been reducing friction from first click to real usage by unifying navigation across Upbound, tightening the feedback loop between usage and cost, and enabling self-service upgrades and licensing. These changes lay the operational foundation for AI-native infrastructure, where intent cleanly translates into execution for both humans and AI systems. 🚀 New in the Upbound Marketplace: Vulnerability Summaries Find out if your Crossplane Packages version has any CVEs. Platform teams building with Crossplane don’t need more security tools; they need better signals earlier. Vulnerability Summaries provide clear, CVSS-based visibility into known CVEs for Crossplane Official Packages at deployment time, with no image pulls or external scans. Ever tried writing a Kubernetes controller and got stuck? What if you could build one with zero code and using plain English? In our latest blog post, Jay explores how Crossplane project's Operations, combined with LLMs & AI, enables a code-free Kubernetes controller that can watch and enforce desired state without writing a traditional controller. 👉 Read the post to see how it works: https://utm.guru/ujwot

Want to know how it could be used in the Kubernetes ecosystem? Check out https://lnkd.in/giptfYz3 on Github and Lucas Käldström's talks on the Cedar at Speakerdeck: speakerdeck.com/luxas
The Cedar Policy project joins the CNCF! 🚀 This means the cloud native community can now rely on a fast, safe, expressive, analyzable and formally verified authorization library when implementing access control. 🔓 This is a game-changer for what access control is possible to implement both safely and quickly. This feels very similar to when I first saw Kubernetes more than 10 years ago. A project with the potential to transform an entire industry, with creators that have been facing these problems for a long time, and with already many prior iterations experience is drawn from. I gave a quote for the launch blog post as follows: “What I appreciate the most about Cedar is the deep knowledge that is encoded into why it works the way it works… the careful balance between expressiveness and analyzability.” Want to know how it could be used in the Kubernetes ecosystem?
