Ufficio Infrastruttura, Sistemi e Telecomunicazioni - Università degli Studi di Padova

The Infrastructure, Systems and Telecommunications Office, based on the policies defined at the Area level, manages processes related to the design, development, management, and maintenance of the University's metropolitan network infrastructure, as well the cybersecurity. The Office also manages processes like the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure such as server farms, public cloud services in IaaS and PaaS modes, selection of multi-cloud orchestration tools for the realization of a multi-tenant infrastructure for use by the Office itself, as well as the Area and the University, services provided to the Central Administration and central IT services of the University. The activities of the Office are overseen by Sectors that oversee technologically homogeneous processes: Telecommunications Sector, Operational Oversight Sector, Systems and Management Platforms Sector.
