The United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) is the official procurement portal of the United Nations System. The UNGM portal brings together UN procurement staff and suppliers interested in doing business with the United Nations. UNGM connects suppliers to the UN marketplace. The main functions of UNGM are to: - Provide suppliers with a central and unique registration process for 30 UN organizations; - Provide suppliers and the general public with access to UN procurement opportunities and contract awards and; - Disseminate relevant UN procurement and UN market information. UNGM also supports Governmental Trade Promotion Organizations (TPOs) in promoting UN procurement opportunities within their business community. Thank you, Julie Havlova, it was a pleasure partnering with you on another successful International Procurement Seminar. A huge thank you as well to the Embassy of Hungary in Vienna, CzechTrade Austria, and the Embassy Of The Slovak Republic in Vienna for making this event possible. Together, we welcomed +90 suppliers from the region and 15 UN organizations. This created valuable chances to connect, share knowledge, and look into future partnerships. #UNIPS #IPS2026
Our third International Procurement Seminar with the United Nations brought together nearly 140 companies from the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia with almost 80 procurement officers representing 14 UN agencies from around the world. 🔥Despite the summer heat, the energy in the room was remarkable. Companies took part in almost 150 one-on-one meetings, engaged in insightful discussions with UN buyers, learned more about the The United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM), and exchanged practical experience and best practices. Events like this demonstrate that companies from our region have innovative products, valuable expertise and strong potential to contribute to UN projects worldwide. At the same time, the United Nations remains a reliable and transparent partner for businesses looking to expand internationally.
