Turn 10 Studios was proud to sponsor the recent DirtFish Women in Motorsport Summit, where many of our talented women team members joined 450 in-person attendees for a day of inspiration and connection. The event has already garnered an impressive 596,000 livestream views to date, demonstrating the significant interest there is to create more opportunities for women in motorsport.   The summit featured remarkable speakers including Claire Williams OBE, former Deputy Team Principal of Williams Racing, who shared insights from her groundbreaking career in Formula 1. Other notable speakers included Lia Block from Williams Racing Driver Academy, Pernilla Solberg, FIA World Rally Commission President, and Jess Dane, Corvette Racing Program Manager at GM, among others.    At Turn 10, we know that creating genre-defining racing games requires more than just polygon counts and physics models, it demands diverse perspectives and experiences behind the wheel. Just as the most exciting racetracks feature challenging turns and unexpected elevations, our team thrives when we bring together unique viewpoints that push the boundaries of what's possible in gaming and motorsport.   Our team members who attended engaged in meaningful conversations about innovation and the future of motorsport. The summit's panels addressed crucial topics from breaking barriers in traditionally male-dominated spaces to developing mentorship opportunities and showcasing the diverse roles available in motorsport beyond driving. This past weekend, Turn 10 Studios had the unique opportunity to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Forza Motorsport in collaboration with Exotics at Redmond Town Center. Our team showcased a special section at the car show featuring some of the vehicles used to create our in-game assets, alongside cars owned by our talented team members.   Visitors to our section got to see some of the actual cars that were scanned or photographed for our digital models and chat with the very folks who make the games they play. Among the employee-owned vehicles on display were the pictured 1987 Toyota MR2 and a Nissan R33 Skyline GTR, giving a personal glimpse into some of our team's automotive passion. The showcase also featured several vehicles that have been instrumental in creating the authentic in-game assets that players experience in Forza Motorsport.   Authenticity is one of the many aspects that defines Forza Motorsport, and this event provided attendees a look at the real-world references behind some of the digital vehicles in our games. We're thrilled to announce that our former Studio Head Alan Hartman’s iconic 2017 Ford GT has found a new home after a successful charity auction, raising over $800,000 for SpecialEffect! This remarkable vehicle, which many of you may recognize from its prominent display in our Turn 10 Studios lobby and our Forza Motorsport 6 cover, has been a symbol of our passion for automotive excellence and innovation. What makes this Ford GT particularly special is the unique livery that was selected by the Forza community. In 2017, we invited our passionate community to participate in the journey of this extraordinary vehicle, from its ordering to its final design. The community's input shaped the distinctive appearance of the car, creating a true collaboration between our studio and the players who bring our games to life. SpecialEffect is a charity that uses technology to enhance the quality of life for people with physical disabilities through gaming, and they'll be the primary benefactor of the proceeds. Their work resonates deeply with our mission at Turn 10 to make gaming accessible to everyone, something Alan personally championed throughout his career. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Alan Hartman for his incredible generosity, to the Forza community for their creative contributions to this special vehicle, and to everyone who participated in the auction. This successful collaboration between our studio, our community, and SpecialEffect demonstrates the positive impact we can make when we come together around our shared passion for gaming and automotive culture. Alan Hartman's Ford GT was the cover car for Forza Motorsport 6 and dutifully greeted all who came through the doors of our lobby for many years. Proceeds from his auction of this iconic vehicle will be donated to SpecialEffect, in support of initiatives to make gaming more accessible for all. 💖

Over the past two decades, Forza has grown into a beloved automotive franchise, showcasing state-of-the-art technology and bringing car passion to fans around the world.
