  • AI transformation isn’t just about technology — it’s about change management. It’s my pleasure to welcome Matthew Oswalt to Trunk Tools as our new VP of Partnerships & Strategy!! 🚀 AI is not just about building the models; it’s helping organizations rethink workflows, adopt new tools, and unlock real value from them. Matt has spent his career at the intersection of construction, strategy, operations, consulting and large-scale transformation. He previously worked at Tesla, reporting to Elon Musk, helping scale complex initiatives in one of the world’s most demanding operational environments. Most recently he was an associate partner at McKinsey & Company, advising leaders on strategy and execution. That combination — deep operational construction experience and strategic consulting — is exactly what construction needs as AI moves from experimentation to enterprise adoption. At Trunk Tools, we see ourselves as AI partners to our customers. Our job isn’t just to ship software — it’s to work alongside builders to drive measurable outcomes across their projects and organizations. Real AI is not an LLM wrapper. We’ve spent years building the infrastructure, models, and workflows required to make AI actually work in the real world of construction. Matt will help us deepen the partnerships with our customers and scale the impact we’re delivering across the industry. Welcome to the team, Matt. Excited for what we’ll build together. 💥 #TrunkTools #LetBuildersBuild #AIinConstruction #ConstructionTech #Leadership #Partnerships #AgenticAI #IntelligenceAugmentation

We’re proud to share that Suffolk Construction has signed an enterprise agreement with Trunk Tools, expanding our AI platform and agents to 1,500+ field users nationwide. What began in the Suffolk Technologies BOOST accelerator has grown into a scaled partnership bringing AI directly to the jobsite — helping teams instantly find answers across drawings, RFIs, submittals, and project documents so they can spend less time digging through paperwork and more time building. As our Founder & CEO Dr. Sarah Buchner shared: "This partnership proves that AI is delivering real, measurable value on construction jobsites — not as an experiment, but as an essential part of how leading contractors operate." • Not all “construction AI” is created equal. Some tools are logos slapped on top of ChatGPT. Some add lightweight customization for construction. Very few are deeply integrated into real construction workflows. The challenge? Vendors rarely tell you where they actually fall on that spectrum. That’s why Trunk Tools published The Ultimate AI Vendor Questionnaire for Construction — a practical guide to help builders and construction leaders evaluate: • Workflow integration and automation depth • Multimodal reasoning across drawings, specs, schedules, RFIs, and submittals • Technical defensibility and long-term sustainability • Data governance, retention, and compliance controls The bigger question remains: When is an AI platform worth paying for? This guide aims to help you get answers. 👉 Download the eBook: https://hubs.la/Q0452G-S0 #TrunkTools #LetBuildersBuild #ConstructionAI #VerticalAI #Innovation #ConstructionTech

🚧 Suffolk Construction has signed an enterprise agreement with Trunk Tools, deploying our AI platform and agents to all 2,500+ field users nationwide. This partnership has been years in the making. We first met Suffolk through BOOST, Suffolk Technologies’ accelerator program, back in 2023. What started as an accelerator collaboration quickly turned into a pilot… then scaled deployments across active jobsites… and now a full enterprise partnership. Why? Because the challenge Suffolk is tackling is the same one we see across the industry: construction teams are buried under drawings, RFIs, submittals, bulletins, specs, and contracts — and the volume of documentation keeps growing. Our mission is simple: turn that complexity into clarity. And let agents do the work, so builders can focus back on building. With Trunk Tools, Suffolk teams can now: 📄 Instantly surface project documentation and SOPs 🔍 Have agents analyze drawing and bulletin revisions in seconds ⚙️ Have agents review submittals and clarify scope faster 👷♀️ Get answers in the field without digging through thousands of pages and much more The result is exactly what matters most: less time chasing paperwork and more time building. One Suffolk project leader put it perfectly: “The collection of those small time savings probably saves days or weeks. Apply that to a 20-person team and you’re saving man-months.” That’s the power of AI done right — not hype, but real operational leverage for people in the field. Huge thank you to John F. Fish, Jit Kee Chin, Parker Mundt, Ryan O'Connor and the entire Suffolk team for the trust and partnership. Suffolk has long been a leader in pushing the industry forward, and we’re excited to keep building together. 🔗 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/e9uhhWSM This isn’t the finish line — it’s the foundation for what’s next. #TrunkTools #LetBuildersBuild #ConstructionTech #AIinConstruction #AgenticAI #SuffolkConstruction #BuiltWorld #IntelligenceAugmentation #Innovation

Submittal reviews are one of the most time-consuming — and highest-stakes — workflows in construction. Missed details mean rework, procurement delays, and schedule exposure your team can't afford. Trunk Tools is hosting Leveraging AI for Construction Submittal Reviews, a live webinar on how AI tools like TrunkSubmittal are changing that. Join Subject Matter Expert John Altieri, P.E. and other construction practitioners actively using AI-assisted review to discuss what it catches, how it fits into real project workflows, and what it means for teams stretched thin by labor shortages. WEBINAR DETAILS Leveraging AI for Construction Submittal Reviews 📅 Wednesday, March 25, 2026 ⏰ 9:00 A.M. PDT / 12:00 P.M. EDT Register here → https://hubs.ly/Q045rw8x0 #TrunkTools #LetBuildersBuild

Getting the whole team in one room 💥 At Trunk Tools culture comes first: "low ego, high output, no BS" are our corporate values (hard to find these days in AI...)! Trunk Tools had our company-wide onsite in NYC — engineers, product, GTM, customer success — all under one roof, whiteboarding, debating architecture, reviewing customers, and pushing each other to build better. AI moves fast. But real AI needs real talent. It takes: 🧠 Deep domain expertise in construction ⚙️ World-class ML and systems engineering 📊 Product leaders who obsess over workflows 👷♀️ Field empathy — understanding how supers and PMs actually work Agentic AI doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built by people who care about precision, performance, and real-world impact. We spent the week diving into: • Improving model accuracy on complex drawing sets • Tightening coordination between agents / agent orchestration • Hardening workflows for enterprise scale • Planning what’s coming next in 2026 👀 There’s no substitute for being in the room together — challenging assumptions, aligning on vision, and building trust. Proud of this team. Energized for what’s ahead!!! #TrunkTools #LetBuildersBuild #AIinConstruction #VerticalAI #StartupLife #NYC #EngineeringCulture #IntelligenceAugmentation

AI’s biggest payoff isn’t just automation — it’s coordination. We’re excited to share that Trunk Tools is featured in Harvard Business Review in the article “AI’s Big Payoff Is Coordination, Not Automation.” Big thanks to Sangeet Paul Choudary for the thoughtful coverage! The piece highlights how AI drives value by connecting fragmented teams, information, and workflows — especially in complex industries like construction. That’s exactly what we’re building at Trunk Tools: A coordination layer across drawings, specs, RFIs, and reports that helps teams reduce rework, move faster, and stay aligned. Where in the world will our Trunkies pop up next? 📍 Last week, Kelsey VanSleen, CRIS(Customer Success Manager) and Jayson LaManna (Account Executive) were in the Chicago area visiting our customer GSI (Glass Solutions, Inc.) for an incredible onsite. From leading hands-on training sessions to touring GSI’s manufacturing and fabrication facility, it was a great opportunity to see their operations up close and collaborate directly with the team using Trunk Tools every day. A big thank you to Sarah Maki, Scott Heidemann, Andrew Hill, and Anthony Fiorito for the warm welcome and thoughtful conversations—we truly value the partnership. At Trunk Tools, time in the field and on the floor matters. It’s how we continue building technology that works for the people who build the world. 👷 To meet more of the teams we’re proud to support, visit: https://hubs.la/Q0442vgS0 #TrunkTools #LetBuildersBuild #GSIChicago #GlassSolutionsInc

Revoking API access to AI companies in 2026 is like blocking email in 1998. You're not protecting your platform. You're announcing its expiration date. Fear is not a product strategy. Blocking real AI from your ecosystem tells your customers everything they need to know about how confident you are in your own product. And then there's the other approach... We just got approved for the Autodesk Marketplace — and it reinforces something I've believed since day one: the future of construction technology belongs to the platforms that embrace the best AI, not the ones terrified of it. Autodesk gets something that others in this industry haven't figured out yet: the platforms that win aren't the ones that trap their users. They're the ones that make their users so successful they'd never want to leave. Open beats closed. Every time. This isn’t just another integration badge — it reflects our commitment to an open ecosystem where your data truly stays yours. To the GCs, superintendents, and PMs who've been waiting: Trunk Tools is officially live on Autodesk's Marketplace, Autodesk App Store for BIM 360 & Autodesk Construction Cloud. Let’s keep building tools that let builders build. 🚧🛠️ #TrunkTools #LetBuildersBuild #ConstructionTech #AutodeskAppStore #AIinConstruction #OpenEcosystem #DataOwnership #Partnership #AI #ACC #BIM360 #Innovation
