Tidal’s Spotlight program highlights and supports emerging independent artists who upload their music by giving them playlist placement, visibility, and opportunities for cash awards. After months of highlighting these artists inside Tidal, we wanted to bring them together IRL. The idea is simple: gather independent artists who’ve been Spotlighted and create space to connect over conversation, a meal, and music. This all started in NYC with our first Supper Club. What began as a casual gathering quickly turned into something else entirely, with impromptu performances taking over the room by the end of the night. A reminder that when you put artists together, the music finds its way out. More recently, we brought the Spotlight Supper Club to LA. The West Coast carried that energy in a big way.
