Telia has Sweden’s best mobile network for the sixth year in a row, according to umlaut company 2025 🏆 With a total of 970 points of a possible 1,000, we achieved both the highest overall score and a win in every category in umlaut’s latest annual benchmark. The score combines network measurements and crowdsourced data. This methodology provides a detailed view of how a network performs and is experienced by users – around the clock and across an entire country 📶 Anders Olsson: “Being recognized by umlaut as Sweden’s best mobile network year after year shows our investments benefit customers and society. Speed, capacity and reliability are essential for today’s digital consumers and businesses. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far – and we’re not stopping here.” umlaut’s independent and internationally recognized benchmark includes four categories: voice services, data services, crowdsourced quality and reliability. For 2025, Telia received 267 points of a possible 270 in voice services; 471 points of a possible 480 in data services; and 232 points of a possible 250 in crowdsourced quality. Underground success story 🚇 For the first time in Europe, a commercial mobile network will support signaling for a subway system. Guess whose network? We’re partnering with Norway's largest public transport operator Sporveien AS and Siemens Mobility to connect trains, track equipment and control centers in the Oslo Metro 🚦🛤️ For Sporveien, joining tens of thousands of Metro passengers who use Telia’s network every day can deliver significant cost benefits. In addition, we’ll meet their specific safety and performance requirements through a managed service that includes 24/7 monitoring. Morten K Sørby: “Only the New York City Subway uses a mobile network as part of a signaling system. It places high demands on availability and service quality, and Telia is ready to deliver.” The new signaling system, which began rolling out today on line 4 between Brattlikollen and Bergkrystallen, enables trains to run closer together – supporting increased capacity and more frequent departures. Implementation across the entire Oslo Metro is already in the timetable for 2030 📆
