About us

WSO2 is a global technology company, owned by EQT, providing the foundational platforms enterprises need to build an agentic future. Since 2005, we have served as a critical infrastructure partner to leading organizations worldwide, helping them connect systems, secure digital identities, and accelerate innovation. Our composable 100% open source stack enables organizations to build, integrate, and scale AI-first experiences with full control and flexibility. It includes an agent platform for orchestrating autonomous AI agents, alongside industry-recognized API management, integration, and identity platforms, and an AI-ready engineering platform to accelerate developer and agent delivery. We believe modernization requires sovereignty, based on open source software that's free from vendor lock-in, can be deployed anywhere and built on open standards. Headquartered in Sri Lanka and operating globally, WSO2 lets enterprises bridge legacy complexity and scale your agentic enterprise, turning technology into a secure and strategic asset.

Dr. Sanjiva Weerawarana, our Founder, CEO, and Chief Product Officer will be delivering the opening keynote at WSO2Con North America 2026. "Building the Agentic Enterprise," the theme of this year's conference, isn't just a vision. WSO2 recently announced a portfolio built around exactly this: giving enterprises the foundational fabric they need to deploy AI capabilities in a way that's manageable, secure, observable, and sovereign. Agents, APIs, integration, identity, and engineering foundations: open, and without lock-in. May 20–22 | Austin, Texas Register: https://lnkd.in/grTS3zBH

ForgeRock 7.5 reaches End of Support in April 2027. For a lot of organizations, that deadline is starting to feel real. The natural assumption is to follow the path to Ping; the same vendor family seems like the safer bet. But here's something worth knowing before you go down that road: ForgeRock and Ping were built on entirely different codebases. The migration complexity is roughly the same regardless of which platform you choose. Which means this isn't really a "stay or go" decision. It's a "where do we actually want to be in five years" decision. That's a harder question, but the right one to be asking right now. In his latest blog, Sagara Gunathunga wrote about five things we think every ForgeRock customer should work through before committing to a direction. Read now:https://lnkd.in/gGkNnFnC

The agentic era runs on APIs. Full stop. We're bringing two sessions to apidays Singapore that cut straight to what matters right now. → Derric Gilling | Tuesday, April 14 | 2:40 PM | Stage 3 "Optimizing Consumption and Cost of AI APIs in the Enterprise" AI APIs are running enterprise ops — but ungoverned, they'll drain your budget fast. Derric breaks down how to stay in control without slowing down. → Anusha Jayasundara | Wednesday, April 15 | 12:00 PM | Stage 2 "From Linting to Learning: The Evolution of API Style Guides in the Age of AI" Style guides didn't disappear — they evolved. Anusha maps the journey and where AI takes it next. Two sessions. Two angles. One bottom line: Your APIs. AI-Ready. Catch them live — or skip the queue and book a meeting directly. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dZXpSkGW Navneet Kaur Abhishek kumar Shazni Nazeer Shiva Sures Raphael Sohail Puvinayagam #APIDays #WSO2 #APIs #AI #AgenticAI #DigitalTransformation #Integration #BFSI #Healthcare #Telco

ANDREA SNELL, Product Owner at Pekin Insurance, is joining us as a speaker at WSO2Con North America 2026. Her session, "Beyond Migration: Pekin Insurance's WSO2 Integration Maturity Story," covers what comes after go-live. As a mid-sized P&C and life insurer with a highly integration-heavy landscape, Pekin established WSO2 as their enterprise integration platform to tackle rising costs, vendor lock-in, and scalability. Now, with a stable foundation in production, the focus has shifted to maturing it: architecture consistency, developer experience, CI/CD, security, observability, and governance. Add this one to your agenda. May 20–22 | Austin, Texas Register: https://lnkd.in/gKH8Hf9V

The energy at #KubeCon + #CloudNativeCon last week was electric! The best part of the conference was making amazing connections with fellow maintainers, Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) team members, project users, and supporters. From the community-run Cloud Native Rejekts event to our first-ever Maintainer Summit and Project Pavilion kiosk, we truly felt like part of this buzzing ecosystem of creators and innovators. In case you missed it, we released #OpenChoreo 1.0 and announced our acceptance into the CNCF Sandbox last week! If you are interested in checking out the project, contributing, or adopting it in your enterprise, you can get started here: https://openchoreo.dev
