I've been quiet on here lately. Not because there's nothing to say, but because I've been building. The past few months, I've been working with Wireless Logic Benelux and CNH on a platform called Mistral, and it's been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career! Here's what we're working on: When you're selling autonomous tractors that rely on connectivity, there's a lot happening behind the scenes. Activations. SIM assignments. Tracking. Invoicing. All across different markets. Mistral brings it all together in one place, so the operational chaos disappears and dealers can focus on growth. But honestly? The tech is only half the story. What made these months special were the people. Working with Elian van Kemenade and Gert-Jan Verburg at Wireless Logic has been incredible. The trust they gave me from day one, the way they collaborate, the energy they bring, it's rare to find that in any project. Huge thanks to everyone else at Wireless Logic Benelux as well. You've all made this experience something special. Big thanks to Martijn Dijkgraaf too, collaborating with you, sharing expertise, and learning from each other is what made the work genuinely enjoyable. A few days ago, I visited CNH's office in Hoorn. Got to see the autonomous tractors our platform helps manage and connect. I even rode on one (yes, there's a picture).. Watching it all work together in practice, not just in a codebase, that's why I love what I do. I'm grateful to everyone at Wireless Logic Benelux and CNH for the opportunity and the trust. And I'm excited to keep building Mistral into something that's used by many people across the world! More to come.

  • Science fiction has been imagining connected futures for decades. On National Science Fiction Day, we've looked at how close some of those ideas are to reality. From autonomous vehicles and immersive wearables to smart communication and voice-enabled environments, many of the concepts once shown as distant fantasy now mirror what’s become normal across today’s IoT landscape. It’s a reminder of how imagination often sets the direction long before technology catches up and how quickly those boundaries continue to move. How many of these movies do you remember? #NationalScienceFictionDay #IoT #Innovation #FutureTechnology #ConnectedWorld #TechEvolution

  • Whether it’s Christmas or any other time of the year, our experts are on hand to help you make the right decisions to design your IoT solution right from the start. Experts like Toby Gasston will work closely with you to understand what matters most for your business and help shape IoT solutions that are built to last. Let’s make the wish list together. • 'Tis the season for questionable knitwear - so we decided to take it one step further. At Wireless Logic, we’ve created our own range of IoT-powered Christmas jumpers, each one inspired by a sector we support and a festive use case that comes with it. Take a look through our jumper collection below and let us know which one gets your vote.

  • How connectivity shapes the future of Remote Patient Care Imagine managing a chronic illness from the comfort of home, no endless trips to clinics, no waiting rooms, just real-time health updates shared securely with your care team. This is the promise of Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM). But it only works when the data flows without interruption. RPM devices often rely on patients’ home WiFi, which is risky in rural or underserved areas. Missed data means missed insights, and in healthcare, small gaps can have big consequences. More healthcare providers and manufacturers are turning to cellular IoT connectivity. Secure, always-on, and independent from home networks, cellular keeps RPM devices reliably connected whether they need high-bandwidth 4G for streaming data or efficient LTE Cat-1 BIS or LTE-M for battery-powered monitoring. For patients, it means peace of mind. For clinicians, it means informed decisions without unnecessary check-ups. For healthcare systems, it means more resilient care at scale. If your organisation is exploring how to make remote care work anywhere — and work securely — this guide explains how the right connectivity can remove barriers and protect critical patient data. • When 2G and 3G go dark, will your IoT stay online? Many businesses think network sunsets are tomorrow’s problem. But around the world, operators are already switching off 3G and, increasingly, 2G too. The goal is clear: free up spectrum for faster, more efficient 4G and 5G technologies that power modern IoT. The challenge? 2G networks have quietly become the backbone for countless IoT and M2M devices. From sensors and meters to alarms and tracking units, they often run for years in the field with minimal updates. Retiring these networks is far from simple. If your organisation depends on legacy IoT or M2M systems, now is the time to plan your migration. Staying connected means more than swapping SIMs. It means choosing the right connectivity mix for coverage, battery life and long-term reliability in a world shifting to LTE and 5G. Our latest guide explains how to prepare: ✔️ Timelines and regional scenarios for network shutdowns. ✔️ Alternatives like LTE Cat-1 BIS, LTE-M and NB-IoT. ✔️ Tips for VoIP vs VoLTE when voice services matter. ✔️ Checklists for inventory, hardware and smart migration. When devices are built to last a decade, your connectivity plan needs to last even longer. The networks are changing, and now it’s your move to protect uptime and performance. • How do you keep global IoT deployments simple in a complex world? Expanding an IoT solution across borders sounds straightforward. After all, cellular networks exist almost everywhere. But anyone who’s managed multinational IoT at scale knows the reality is more complicated. Each country has its own mix of networks, regulations, roaming rules, and commercial roadblocks. Striking separate deals with local carriers adds cost and complexity, and too often, surprises you can’t afford once devices are in the field. That’s why more enterprises, OEMs, and solution providers are turning to eSIM, iSIM, and multi-IMSI technologies. Remote SIM Provisioning allows users to manage SIM profiles over the air, switch networks when performance drops or costs spike, and avoid being locked into low-quality connections, all with a single SIM and SKU. The result is more control, lower total cost of ownership, and a truly scalable global IoT strategy that works whether you’re deploying smart sensors in Europe, logistics trackers across Asia or connected equipment in remote sites worldwide. This guide details how Conexa facilitates this integration by combining flexible network access with enterprise-grade security, thereby offering a cohesive experience for multinational deployments. If your team is scaling IoT globally, now’s the time to see how modern SIM tech cuts through old barriers and unlocks smarter rollouts. 📘 Download the guide and discover how one SIM can do more, everywhere. https://lnkd.in/eTZkfNuB
