🚀 Big news from wefox in Austria! We’re excited to share that wefox in Austria has acquired VMK Versicherungsmakler GmbH and is launching a new succession concept for broker partners in Austria.
📰 𝘄𝗲𝗳𝗼𝘅 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴 📰 "wefox in Österreich bleibt auf Wachstumskurs und übernimmt rückwirkend per 1. Jänner 2025 die VMK Versicherungsmakler GmbH in Klosterneuburg. VMK-Gründer und Geschäftsführer Martin Schäfer MBA regelt damit vorausschauend seine Betriebsnachfolge und bleibt dem Unternehmen weiterhin als Geschäftsführer im Management Board erhalten. Die seit 2018 bestehende, erfolgreiche Partnerschaft mit wefox wird dadurch auf eine neue rechtliche Grundlage gestellt. Im Zuge der Übernahme startet wefox in Österreich ein neues Angebot für Makler-Betriebsnachfolge und hat dafür die wefox Austria Holding GmbH als Beteiligungsholding und Schwesterunternehmen der operativen wefox Austria GmbH gegründet." wefox has successfully secured funding of EUR 151 million - including a €76M capital raise from existing investors and €75M in credit refinancing from Searchlight Capital Partners.
