Hello All! I wanted to let you all know that we are doing some reorganizing on Wagtail.org this week. The menu items are going to be moved around. If we any of the updates we make are particularly confusing, please do get in touch. We’re aiming to make it easier to find things, not harder. 😉

All right #Content people, where do you get images for your content these days? We've experimented with #AI art. But we've found open source images with a snazzy filter like this image) work just as well. Can there be a #ResponsibleAI approach to generating art? If not, how do you source your art?

Sometimes you find really cool stuff when you're cleaning up your #CMS. This is a draft post labeled "Wagtail Space Progress Report". Beautiful photo! Erm, the copy could use some work though... #Wagtail #Content #OpenSource

We're seeing AI getting shoved thoughtlessly into software without people taking time to think about whether it's actually helping people. We think part of #ResponsibleAI is giving people the option to use as much or as little AI as they want to. What do you think? Is #ResponsibleAI possible? If so, what do you think it should look like? We got a blog post summing up our approach in the first comment if you're curious.

Wagtail CMS reposted this
Huge thanks to the team at Artangel for trusting us with their new site. We worked closely to transform and clarify the media-heavy web platform, empowering editors with full creative control. This included: 🟢 Migrating 1,500 pages & 1,300 content modules from a clunky system to flexy Wagtail CMS 🟢 Surfacing 80+ projects across 400 active pages for easier exploration 🟢 Showcasing more than 300 videos and audio clips, now fully accessible 🟢 Reaching WCAG AA accessibility targets 🟢 Making publishing easy with flexible content blocks 🟢 Preserving the distinct brand personality while improving usability The cultural changemaker wanted its digital presence to feel as inclusive, intuitive, and alive as the work itself. And we’re delighted with the result. What do you think? 💫
You might have noticed our website has recently gotten a refresh. We are proud to share a new relaunch of artangel.org.uk, designed to better showcase our extraordinary projects with artists while keeping you up-to-date with our latest news and activities. The design and build of the site was led by Cursive, who worked closely with our team to ensure audiences can read about upcoming activity and explore with ease our vast online archive of audio and visual material work.
