Sweat is a leading women’s fitness app and global community that’s transformed the lives of millions of women.

About us

We’re Sweat, the leading women’s fitness app and global community that’s transformed the lives of millions of women from Sydney to Singapore to San Diego. Originally Sweat with Kayla, the app launched in 2015 as a digital home for co-founder and head trainer Kayla Itsines’ popular 28-minute workout program. Today, Sweat is home to over 60 unique programs and more than 13,000 workouts designed by women, for women. Founded on the simple belief that fitness can genuinely help women improve their confidence, health and quality of life, the app reached #1 in the App Store in over 142 countries within a year of its release. The app became Sweat in 2017, welcoming more trainers and their programs to the platform. Sweat has extensive features to personalise and track your health and fitness journey, hundreds of recipes, and the latest wellness tips and advice. From the most determined athlete to the most playful mum, to the woman lacing up her trainers for the very first time, our purpose is to empower women through fitness. At Sweat, there’s something to suit every lifestyle and fitness goal, with training styles such as HIIT, strength, Pilates, low-impact, yoga, barre, pregnancy, post-pregnancy and so much more. We go wherever you go, whether that’s the corner of your garage, a hotel room, or a bustling gym. Available in over 145 countries and eight languages, Sweat offers the support of a global community led by some of the world’s top trainers and backed by years of science, experience and results. All you’ve got to do is show up and Sweat.

We’re heading to New York 🇺🇸 Community is a focus for many retailers today - and it’s been at the heart of how Kayla Itsines has built Sweat from day one. Next week, we're proud to see Kayla speaking at NRF Big Show, joining our partner Snowflake to share how Sweat became one of the world's most engaged women's fitness platforms. Kayla will unpack what actually drives customer loyalty in our business: • Why relatability matters in modern marketing • How trust and consistency turn customers into a community • What effective partnerships look like when they genuinely improve members’ everyday lives Kayla will also share how Sweat uses technology to better understand and support its community at scale, while keeping human connection at the centre. Following the panel, the Sweat team will be at the Snowflake booth, connecting with brands interested in exploring partnership opportunities 🤝 We’re incredibly proud to see Kayla represent Sweat, and excited to be part of these conversations in New York 🗽💖 See you at NRF. 📍 Exhibitor Big Ideas Stage 1 🗓️ Tuesday, January 13 | 10:15am–11:00am https://lnkd.in/gGFRRzSQ

🏆🎉 Sweat is officially Beyond Activ's App Of The Year 🎉🏆 Our CEO, Adam Koch, MAICD, is in Singapore for the Beyond Activ Awards and we’re thrilled he’s coming home with this epic trophy! Eight years ago, our team set out with a bold mission: to empower women around the world to step into the very best versions of themselves. Today, Sweat is so much more than just a health and fitness app - it’s a global movement. Home to 60+ programs, over 13,000 workouts, hundreds of nourishing recipes and extensive features, we’re always striving to better support women at every stage of their health and fitness journey. But what truly sets us apart is the incredible Sweat Community. We wouldn’t be where we are today without them. From the most determined athlete to the new mum fitting in a workout while her baby naps to the woman putting on her trainers for the very first time, we’re continually blown away by our members. Who better to have your back than a global community of women trained by women on a platform built by women? To our team, trainers and the women around the world who show up and Sweat with us every single day: thank you for making Sweat what it is. Since the very beginning, we’ve known we’re stronger together and we’re so grateful you’re a part of our journey. We can’t wait to see what’s next 💖

Empowering a global community of women is at the heart of everything we do, so figuring out how to celebrate #InternationalWomensDay presents a unique challenge. After all, at Sweat, championing women shouldn’t be a one-off event, an opportunity to eat cupcakes or a box to tick - it’s who we are. It’s who we always have been. And while we love that there’s a day to celebrate and elevate incredible women, as far as we’re concerned, women deserve to be celebrated every single day of the year. From helping women around the world discover their most confident selves to championing causes like endometriosis research, the Sweat team live and breathe our core purpose in countless ways. We connect with our incredible community in person, elevate women’s sports as proud sponsors of the PNUFC Senior Women’s AFL team, and help to nurture the next generation of female entrepreneurs through initiatives like ThincHer, Women in Innovation and the Young Achiever Awards. Our commitment doesn’t stop there. We’re constantly creating programs and workouts to support women’s health and wellbeing at every stage of life while supporting our team on their own parenting journeys with our Bumps and Babies policy. Because at Sweat, we celebrate women. Every. Single. Day.

Ramadan is Sweat trainer Ruba Ali’s favourite time of the year, a time when she has 30 days to reset, reflect and reconnect with her spirituality. And this Ramadan is a particularly special one for Ruba and the Sweat team as it marks the much-anticipated release of our first-ever Ramadan program, Ramadan Reset with Ruba Ali. Inspired by years of feedback and requests from the Sweat Community and brought to life with Ruba's expertise and lived experience, this program is all about helping our members who are observing Ramadan reset, reflect and reconnect as they nourish their bodies with workouts that meet them where they're at. This program is now live in the Sweat app ahead of the start of Ramadan, and we can't wait to help our members discover a new way to Sweat and Reset this Ramadan 🌙 🤍
