If you're from South Louisiana, you know there’s nothing like celebrating Mardi Gras with your family, friends, and co-workers. We had an amazing Carnival season this year and celebrated in traditional fashion this past week, with parades in NOLA and Franklin and king cake at the Saronic Technologies shipyard with the team. Being able to celebrate in both places with family, friends, and the people I work alongside every day is a reminder of how connected our community is here in South Louisiana. That’s also why it means so much to be part of a company investing in my home state and creating real opportunities on the Gulf Coast. We are keeping talent here, bringing more back, and doing what we've always done better than anyone else: building ships. We are growing FAST and looking for talented engineers, shipyard production specialists, and other maritime and autonomy experts to join us (link in first comment below)!

  • Over 160 Saronic teammates showed up in full force at the Austin Marathon last weekend, running everything from the 5K to the full marathon. That made us one of the largest companies represented across the entire event. We trained side by side, pushed through tough miles, and celebrated together at the finish line, with teammates lining the course to show their support. The same mindset we bring to redefining maritime superiority is the one that carried us across the finish line — one mission, one team. We are hiring for a variety of roles across all of our locations. If you want to build alongside people who push each other, move fast, and win together — join us (link in comments below)!

  • Wrapping up our time at #WEST2026, where we engaged with defense and maritime leaders from the U.S. and around the world. We’re proud to be building and delivering autonomous maritime technology that supports hybrid fleets, distributed operations, and credible deterrence, and to be contributing directly to the future of global maritime security.

  • We were proud to welcome U.S. Senator Tim Sheehy of Montana to Saronic this week. As a former Navy SEAL and a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, he has firsthand understanding of the threats we face and the need for advanced maritime capabilities to be delivered to our warfighters, at speed and scale. It was great to show him how we are building proven, autonomous systems and working tirelessly to make a real difference for the U.S. and our allies.

  • We applaud the leadership shown by the Administration in advancing the U.S. towards a new Maritime Golden Age.   Today’s Maritime Action Plan is a powerful continuation of the Administration’s commitment to revitalizing the U.S. shipbuilding industry after decades of decline. The focus on modernizing procurement, streamlining regulations, and accelerating shipbuilding is exactly what’s needed to restore capacity, sustain growth, and deliver capability at speed. It is especially encouraging to see clear recognition of an autonomous maritime future, which is reflected both in strong support for autonomous ship development and in the commitment to closing regulatory gaps to enable deployment at scale.   At Saronic, we are on a mission to rebuild U.S. shipbuilding capacity and capability in the era of autonomy. We are investing in new shipyards and advanced manufacturing approaches, delivering autonomous ships at speed and scale to address the national security and economic needs of the country. We stand ready to meet this moment and to help reclaim America’s maritime strength. https://lnkd.in/gZJB3Vhu

  • Honored to welcome U.S. Senator Jack Reed, Ranking Member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, to our HQ and production facilities in Austin, TX. We are grateful for the opportunity to showcase our capabilities and discuss the importance of scaling American maritime capacity. Thank you Senator Reed for taking the time to join us!

  • At Saronic, we’re continuously advancing our shipbuilding processes to reliably deliver autonomous ships at speed and scale. By integrating advanced technologies that enhance safety, improve efficiency, and increase throughput, we’re strengthening our operations in ways that complement our skilled workforce and support our continued expansion in Louisiana. As a part of this effort, we’re excited to share our work with Path Robotics, a company pushing the frontier of physical AI for manufacturing. At our Franklin, Louisiana shipyard, we’re pairing Path’s technologies, starting with their intelligent welding cells, with the talent and expertise of our world-class team of welders. Together, this integration will drive meaningful gains in production efficiency, quality, and repeatability. By testing, evaluating, and ultimately scaling these capabilities alongside other advanced manufacturing capabilities and techniques, Saronic is helping define how next-generation manufacturing technologies can accelerate production – today in Franklin, and tomorrow at our next-generation shipyard, Port Alpha.
