About us

University Science Park (USP) is Taiwan’s first and only science park initiated and operated by a university. Conceived as a global-facing platform for research translation and open innovation, USP is designed to accelerate deep-tech commercialization and support the formation and scaling of next-generation deep-tech startups. Strategically located at the heart of the world’s leading semiconductor cluster, Taiwan’s Silicon Valley, USP is embedded within a dense ecosystem of tier-one global high-tech companies, research institutions, and over 100,000 highly skilled engineers and researchers, together with critical supply chain resources in manufacturing. To address systemic gaps in early-stage deep-tech development, USP is structured around two complementary engines: NTHU Ventures and NTHU Accelerator. NTHU Ventures serves as an investment platform that aligns private capital with public resources to directly invest in seed- and early-stage deep-tech startups. In parallel, the NTHU Accelerator builds on over a decade of entrepreneurship and venture-building experience at NTHU, providing a tailored, one-on-one acceleration model that integrates workspace, proof-of-concept programs, and end-to-end business support across intellectual property, legal, and financial domains.

A great success for Startup World Cup's first-ever Hsinchu Regional !! NTHU University Science Park was pleased to work with Pegasus Tech Ventures, BridgePoint Global Advisors, LLC, and Garage NTHU to bring Startup World Cup, a leading global startup competition, to Hsinchu for the first time. With 120+ startup teams and 250+ participants, the event brought together strong entrepreneurial energy from Taiwan’s innovation ecosys. ✨ An inspiring moment of sharing! During tech&fest, we had the honor and privilege of welcoming a delegation from : - NTHU National Tsing Hua University represented by Dr. CT Lin, Executive Director and Pr. shang-hsiu hu , Associate Vice President for R&D - Massachusetts Institute of Technology represented by Myriam Zuber, Managing Director - UMONS represented by Dr.Sandrine Brognaux, - Multitel represented by Alexandre Vandermeersch, CEO and François Narbonneau, Head of Innovation&Partnerships Department. to our premises.
