The National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders (NALCAB) is a unique CDFI intermediary and national network of over 200 nonprofit organizations working to advance economic opportunity in Latino communities across all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. NALCAB provides capital, training, research, and resources to support members in affordable housing development, neighborhood revitalization, small business investment, and financial capability—empowering organizations that build community wealth. As a grantmaker and U.S. Treasury-certified Community Development Financial Institution with offices in San Antonio, TX and Washington, D.C., NALCAB is committed to strengthening economic mobility in communities nationwide.

  • Last week, NALCAB staff had the opportunity to visit members Eastmont Community Center, Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF), and Haven Services in Los Angeles, CA.   Through these site visits, our team witnessed firsthand the transformative impact these organizations are making in their communities—from expanding access to affordable housing to advancing financial literacy, economic mobility, and pathways to opportunity.   We are grateful for the dedication, leadership, and vision our members bring to their work each day.
