We are expanding our subsea flexible pipe manufacturing capacity in Açu, Brazil to support growing offshore demand. As deepwater activity increases and flexible pipe installations reach replacement cycles, we are scaling to meet what comes next. This expansion strengthens our ability to deliver the capacity and technology our customers rely on. It also creates room for new solutions, including flexible pipe designed for high-CO₂ applications. Proud of the work our Subsea Production Systems team is driving to support our customers around the world.
We are expanding our subsea flexible pipe manufacturing capacity in Brazil Today we’ve announced a $200 million investment to roughly double capacity at our Açu facility over the next three years - supporting sustained demand driven by deepwater developments and increasing offshore activity. “This investment reflects both the strength of the market and the confidence we have in the long term role of subsea flexible pipe in offshore developments,” said Torbjörn Weywadt Nilsen, President of Subsea Production Systems within NOV. “With high utilization across our existing facilities and a strong backlog, expanding our capacity in Brazil allows us to better support our customers while continuing to advance technologies for more complex applications.” Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eZxYXUiK #NOV #Subsea #FlexiblePipe #Brazil #OffshoreEnergy
