  • Premium domain name for sale: america.us You don't have to explain it. The best domain names do their own work. You don't define them, footnote them, or talk anyone into them: you say them, and the meaning is already there. This is one of those names. Read it out loud, and it arrives in two parts: the country, then the word for everyone in it. America. Us. You didn't have to be told that. You heard it the first time, because the name says exactly what it means, and nothing gets in the way. That's rare, and it's the whole value. A name that explains itself travels — across an ad, a logo, a conversation, a hundred years — without losing a thing. After 250 of those years, the country still comes down to that one short word. So does the name. america.us — asking $1,250,000 USD. • The dotBrand top-level domain application window is open, but only for a short while; on August 12, it closes. There is still time to apply for a dotBrand top-level domain: your trademark, right of the dot, and yours alone. But the real question isn't about the time that remains to apply... it's about whether you're ready to apply. Our newsletter answers the questions most organizations are asking: "Do I still have enough time to prepare? How does our brand apply?" What "ready" requires is more specific than you'd think, and the clock is ticking. Read the newsletter, and then contact us to start your dotBrand application before it's too late. #dotBrand #BrandProtection #ICANN #DomainSecurity #BrandProtection #EnterpriseSecurity #MarkmonitorGroupExperts #CorporateDomainRegistrar

  • ServiceNow disclosed a security incident earlier this month. A misconfigured API endpoint had allowed unauthenticated users to access enterprise instance tables, the operational record of how large organizations manage IT, vendors, and infrastructure. The fix came on June 5. The public advisory came on June 10. In between, the notification sat behind a customer support login, invisible to anyone who didn't already know to look. For domain managers, the disclosure lag matters as much as the vulnerability itself. In many enterprises, domain management data lives inside exactly these systems: registrar access records documented in CMDB, renewal workflows in IT ticketing, transfer authorizations buried in vendor records. The move toward cloud and SaaS solutions amplifies risk at every security touchpoint that sits outside corporate infrastructure. Which means the standard for every system that touches your domain portfolio, your ITSM platform, your DNS provider, your registrar, isn't just "is it secure?" It's "when something goes wrong, do they tell me first?" A corporate registrar built for enterprise domain portfolios includes a defined escalation path, automated notifications for any account change, real-time DNS monitoring, and a communication protocol that doesn't require you to log into a support portal to learn that your data was exposed. How your custodians communicate under pressure is a question of security posture. Ask your registrar how quickly you'd hear about a vulnerability affecting your domains. If the answer involves a login portal, it's time to talk to Markmonitor. It's funny how the good news and the bad news often arrive together… Visibility creates opportunity. This pattern is remarkably consistent. In other words, when something gets a lot of (positive) attention, such as e.g. the World Cup, the Olympics, or a company's IPO, product launch or merger, it's not just customers, fans, investors, and journalists who take notice. Unfortunately, bad actors do too, and it triggers waves of phishing campaigns, fake ticket websites, and brand impersonation scams. For example, even before the 2026 FIFA World Cup, researchers have identified thousands of fraudulent World Cup-related domains that support phishing campaigns, fake ticket sales, and impersonation scams. Similarly, during the Paris Olympics, security teams uncovered hundreds of fraudulent ticketing websites designed to steal money and personal information from unsuspecting fans. And it’s not only event organizers who are targeted in such situations. Far from it. Sponsors, hotels, online sports betting sites, ticket sales, and streaming platforms are heavily targeted. Simply knowing that this pattern exists puts organizations at an advantage. While many brands only discover abuse long after customers, employees, or investors have already been exposed to it, those with visibility into emerging threats can often identify risks earlier, prioritize resources more effectively, and take action before a problem escalates. Markmonitor Group DomainWatch identifies and instantly risk scores suspicious registrations globally that are targeting your brands. Early visibility with intelligent prioritization gives security, legal, and brand teams the ability to make timely and informed decisions before customers, employees, or investors are affected. Better yet – you also have access to our experienced brand protection team, providing expert support, and ensuring precise and efficient enforcement action when it matters most. Message me if you’d like us to help assess options for, or take action on, an issue you’re experiencing, or otherwise would like to discuss brand protection. #WorldCup #Cybersecurity #Phishing #MarkmonitorGroupExperts #BrandProtection #Markmonitor #ComLaude

  • Most enterprise systems were never designed to secure domain data. They are built to manage tickets, assets, and workflows, and they do that well. The exposure shows up when the data that controls your domains ends up living inside them anyway. Last week's ServiceNow disclosure is a useful illustration and critical information for Corporate Domain Portfolio Managers on risk mitigation. A misconfigured API endpoint allowed unauthenticated access to customer instance tables. No login required. Here's what typically lives in those tables for large enterprises: IT change tickets, CMDB entries, vendor management records. And for organizations that route domain management through their ITSM system, that can extend to renewal requests, registrar access details, and transfer authorizations. Domain names are the front door to every brand's online presence. When the data governing who controls those doors lives in a general-purpose system, the risk does not stay inside that platform. It follows the data. ServiceNow attributed the activity to security researchers and applied a fix. The broader point holds regardless: a vulnerability like this carries an exposure window, in this case 44 days between the first confidential bug bounty submission on April 22 and the June 5 fix, and the systems where domain data accumulates were never meant to be the security boundary for your most critical assets. That is the reason we built Markmonitor, a secure domain registrar, built to meet the specific needs of corporate clients, where domain security is its primary purpose rather than a feature on a platform built for something else. The takeaway for domain portfolio managers is not specific to ServiceNow. It is about where your domain management data lives, who can reach it, and what protections sit between that exposure and your most critical digital assets. Talk to a Markmonitor Domain Portfolio Advisor about mapping where your domain data lives across your systems. Most organizations are surprised by the answer. https://lnkd.in/gjM7HpHC #DomainSecurity #BrandProtection #EnterpriseSecurity #DNSHijacking #DNSAbuse #MarkmonitorGroupExperts #CorporateDomainRegistrar

  • PREMIUM DOMAIN NAME FOR SALE: WEBMAIL.COM Every day, businesses type "webmail" into a browser, not for a brand, but for a function they need right now, and Webmail.com captures that intent at its most direct. This premium name is an exact-match generic domain in a trusted namespace: two words and zero ambiguity. It’s the kind of domain that explains itself to a customer before a single marketing dollar has been spent. For a hosting provider or managed email platform, it's a permanent acquisition channel for users already at the bottom of the funnel: people who know what they want and are typing it. For a telco or ISP, a premium .com address signals serious presence and trust. Category-term domains don't need introductions; the power of type-in traffic means they arrive already known, and that’s the kind of market recognition that no launch budget can buy. Ready to make this premium domain yours? Asking USD 300k, contact our expert brokers at the link above to start discussions. #PremiumDomain #DomainForSale #DomainNameForSale #AftermarketDomainName #DomainBroker #ExpertBrokers #MarkmonitorGroupExperts #WebmailDotCom #Webmail

Lanyards ready; let's go! ICANN 86 opened today in Seville, and the Markmonitor Group team was ready. The Policy Forum is an opportunity for the community to progress ongoing policy work. Of most interest to brands this week are the working sessions for developing policy to mitigate DNS Abuse, and work on how to request access to domain name registration data. There are also sessions throughout the week to ensure that each part of the community understands how they can participate in the new gTLD round process. We'll be in the sessions — in the hallways, in the rooms where registrars, registries, IP professionals, and policymakers decide what comes next for the internet's infrastructure. As active participants in key ICANN groups, the Markmonitor Group team helps shape and inform many of these policy discussions, bringing our clients' interests and perspectives directly into the process. And we’ll be advocating for you, our clients. If you're in Seville this week, let’s connect! If you want to talk brand protection, domain strategy, or what the shifting DNS landscape means for your business, this is the week for it. 🌍 Markmonitor Group is heading to Seville 🇪🇸 for ICANN 86! We're excited to attend the ICANN 86 Policy Forum from 8-11 June — one of the most important gatherings on the global domain name and internet governance calendar. ICANN Policy Forums are where the conversations that shape the future of the Domain Name System (DNS) take place — from new gTLD policy development and WHOIS/RDAP compliance to brand protection frameworks and DNS abuse mitigation. These are issues that sit at the very heart of what we do at Markmonitor and Com Laude as part of Markmonitor Group. Our team will actively participate in working sessions and engage with the global community of registrars, registries, brand owners, IP professionals, and policymakers to help shape policies that protect brands and consumers online. If you'll be in Seville, we'd love to connect. Drop us a message to arrange a meeting — let's talk brand protection, domain strategy, and the evolving DNS landscape. • The ICANN dotBrand TLD application window closes mid-August. If you're uncertain whether this is relevant to your organization, now is the time to find out. Our CEO, Benjamin Crawford, published a piece in TechRadar Pro that reframes a conversation based on his conversations with cutting edge security teams: There's a version of cybersecurity strategy that doesn't start with detecting attacks; it starts with making certain attacks impossible. A dotBrand TLD does that for domain-based threats - not because of response speed, but because the namespace belongs entirely to you. No one else can operate under your brand name, and so the threat category doesn't exist inside your TLD - anything operating outside your authorized TLD using your brand marks becomes an automatically elevated risk signal. Talk to us about applying for your dotBrand before it’s too late. This once-in-a-generation opportunity won’t wait.
