Markmonitor is delighted to announce that Prudence M., Head of Global Industry Relations, and Christopher Niemi, Manager of Strategic Initiatives, have both been selected for International Trademark Association (INTA) Committees for the 2026-2027 term.
As her current term on the Internet Committee nears an end, Prudence will be joining the Technology Transformation Committee. This committee “Monitors digital and other technology developments that may impact IP rights to develop balanced, coordinated, and effective INTA policies, together with corresponding advocacy strategies.” Additionally, “The committee also serves as an incubator to assess the potential impacts of new technologies on IP and consumer rights and establish action plans for policy development and engagement.”
The Publications Committee is where Chris will be putting his talents to use, as that committee “Identifies, evaluates, and develops concepts and proposals for [their] members-only resources. The committee develops and produces short-form publications such as checklists, fact sheets, industry and topic papers, and other resources…."
