In this role you’ll: • Lead the development and implementation of statewide web accessibility standards, policies, and best practices. • Conduct accessibility audits of public-facing sites and digital services. • Consult with state agencies on compliance strategies and training. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and disability advocates to advance inclusive digital experiences. We’re proud to share the launch of Maryland.gov, a new digital front door for the State of Maryland. https://www.maryland.gov/ This work went far beyond a visual refresh. The focus was on clarity: improving content structure, prioritizing what residents actually come to the site for, and making it easier to find essential services, benefits, and information. Government websites work best when they’re built around real constituent needs. This launch reflects a deep understanding of how people interact with government, and how digital experiences can reduce friction instead of adding to it. As Gov. Wes Moore says in the announcement below, this isn’t just a facelift.
