San Francisco has shaped our creativity and values at Levi Strauss & Co. for more than 170 years. Last year, we built off of our efforts to continue energizing and giving back to the city we call home — mobilizing employees, investing in public art and partnering with local nonprofits that meet pressing community needs across the city. Some 2025 highlights include: 👉 Rallying Companies to Volunteer Together: The Downtown Volunteer Coalition grew, and participating companies contributed to four cross-company service days, 30 projects and 700+ volunteers in the downtown area. 👉 Painting the City with “These City Walls”: We collaborated with 1AM Projects and local partners to commission 25 new murals citywide, including “Beneath the Bay” down the street from our headquarters. 👉 25 Years of Community Day: Nearly 600 SF-based employees volunteered with 20 nonprofits, alongside more than $150K in local grants. 👉 Showing Up for Pride in Our Hometown: We sponsored the SF Pride parade and showed up for the community through city-wide pop-ups, volunteer activations and events. 👉 St. Anthony’s Partnership: We formalized an ongoing clothing‑donation cadence and new volunteer opportunities. 👉 Deepening Ties with Longstanding Partners: We continued to support SF cultural institutions and youth‑ and family‑focused nonprofits. We’ve believed in this city for more than 170 years, and we look forward to continuing to show up. Learn more about our commitment ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gN8XSQqD

Our products are built to last, to be loved and worn and loved again. That’s why we’ve launched the Levi’s® Wear Longer Project, a community initiative designed to equip young people with the skills and confidence to repair, refresh and reimagine their clothes — so they look better and last longer. Last year, we commissioned a survey and found that while Gen Z is leading the charge in thrifting, repurposing and self-expression, 41% of Gen Z reported having no repair or customization skills, like sewing a button or hemming a pair of jeans. The Wear Longer Project aims to change that. We’ve partnered with Discovery Education to create free, accessible resources to teach these basic skills in the classroom and beyond. Learn more about the project and invest in your own repair skills ➡️ https://lnkd.in/g7QQCvk6

With over 170 years of rich history, Levi Strauss & Co. is part of hundreds of thousands of untold stories, including those of the people whose passion and vision shaped Levi’s® into the brand we know today. On a recent trip to Hungary, LS&Co. Historian Tracey Panek learned the amazing story of one such person: Levi’s® salesman Willie Gertler, whose autobiography “Selling Is My Game” is still a reference point for historical business practices today. Swipe to learn more about Willie, and read the full story at https://lnkd.in/gAjRRADF

A big thank you to Jeff Beer, Vincent Tullo and Fast Company for featuring Levi's® on the cover of Fast Company’s new “Brands That Matter” Winter Issue. So much collective work goes into driving global brand strength, and I’m so happy to see our teams recognized like this. I greatly appreciated the time and thought Jeff put into the story, as well as the chance to share how we’re shaping the next chapter at Levi’s® by rewiring the company, driving a DTC-first future, and becoming, as the story says, the world’s definitive denim lifestyle brand. Kudos to our Chief Marketing Officer Kenneth Mitchell and our Chief Product Officer Karyn Hillman for their contributions, and to our teams across LS&Co. for the passion they pour into making Levi’s a beloved and iconic global brand that truly does matter. For over 170 years, the Levi’s® brand has been at the heart of style and self-expression, outfitting the artists, musicians and changemakers who drive progress, shape culture and define generations. That’s why last week, Levi's® was proud to be a major partner of this year’s NGV Gala — one of the world’s most iconic celebrations of art, music, fashion and culture, held in Melbourne, Australia. From outfitting singer Don West and his seven-piece band in customized Levi’s® denim looks — designed in partnership with New Zealand designer Karen Walker — to creating immersive brand moments throughout the evening, Levi’s® was authentically woven into the gala experience. Guests arrived on a striking denim carpet at the media wall, while three standout looks crafted by final-year RMIT fashion students using repurposed Levi’s® denim were showcased on models, celebrating creativity and sustainability. ⬇️ Experience the event below. 📸: NGV Melbourne, Liz Sunshine, Dan Castano; 📽️: Taylor Wilson
